Don't Visit Brazil Without Trekking The Amazon Manaus!

Here's a sampling of what to expect in a six-day trekking package.

Day 1 – Tourists arrive in Manaus, where they will be checked into their hotel of choice..
Day 2 – At 9AM, tourists are taken to the water port of Manaus, then taken on a three hour speedboat ride to the starting point of your excursion on Lake Acajatuba. A delicious lunch is served in a traditional Caboclo house. After lunch comes the excitement of Piranha fishing and an alligator search. Finally, tourists will set up their night camp and fall asleep in comfortable hammocks strung from the trees.
Day 3 – At 8AM breakfast is served at the overnight camp, followed by a four to six hour trek. Then it's time to set up camp at the new destination, hunt for night-time animals, and sleep in hammocks.
Day 4 – Another 8AM breakfast at camp, followed by a day-long journey of trekking. When the day's trekking is done, tourists will set up camp at the new destination and string their hammocks to the trees for a restful night's sleep.
Day5  - Day 5 begins with an 8AM breakfast. Then it's about four hours of trekking followed by a delicious lunch in a Caboclo house. After lunch everyone returns from the town of Manacaparu to Manaus by bus and ferry boat. Tourists will stay overnight at the hotel they used on day one.
Day 6 – Breakfast and a transfer to the airport for departure from Manaus.
